If you’ve visited Vancouver, B.C., you know that Granville Island is a beautiful place. It’s one of my favorite places to hang out, especially on a weekday when it’s not so crowded. Often, my father and I go down to watch the luxury boats we dream of owning! In lieu of buying a yacht, we once rented a little $40 an hour motorboat and puttered around the area…I steered while Dad basked and gazed out to sea. Then we headed to Bridges for Corona and smoked salmon pizza. It’s not a bad way to kill a day…

Anyway, I’m a fan of the place, so I’m pleased to let people know that my first novel, Carolina, is now available at the very charming Blackberry Books in Granville Island.
